The ASD ORI GREEN Monte Sambuco with its naturalistic guides and sports instructors, and in collaboration with the municipality of Pietramontecorvino, will take you on an excursion that starts from Avellaneta, in the countryside of San Marco La Catola, through the woods of Motta. Montecorvino, with a stop in Pila S. Onofrio, and reaches the House of the Guardiaboschi.
The area has a high biodiversity rate, demonstrated by the discovery of wads of roe deer and porcupine quills; the presence of the wolf is also certain.
The area of the Pila di Sant’Onofrio is characterized by the presence of various species of amphibians.
Furthermore, walking through the wood you can admire the beautiful colors of the many butterflies that animate it, and those of the majestic spontaneous orchids.
Savor the beauty of these places, crossing a stretch of the minor Via Francigena (Avellaneta - Castelnuovo della Daunia), and all its most evocative aspects from a historical and spiritual point of view.
