The winery, located in the historic center of Orsara di Puglia, belongs to the winery Il Tuccanese. Dug into the tuff at 6 meters deep, it is used for aging in barriques and bottle aging of wines produced in the company, and you can visit by tourists or just curious. The Tuccanese, true expression of the clayey and calcareous territory of Orsara, from which the company takes its name. Currently there are two types of wine produced by the company: Tuccanese and Ripalonga. The first shows a remarkable concentration in color, intense and deep ruby, and with aromas of ripe fruit in addition to spicy and balsamic notes. The second, of an intense ruby red color, goes well with grilled meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
