Relais Incontrada

White dominates everywhere, just dampened by ivory and hazelnut details. White and neutral colors are the characteristic of all environments, and of the rooms in particular, the Relais Incontrada, a beautiful guest house in Lucera, although to call it that is rather reductive. The spaces in fact are generous and full of light, the large bathrooms, the furniture is nice and essential without being thin. The taste winks at the shabby-chic, looks like it even if it escapes the obligation of the "fake old", the "deliberately ruined and recovered".

If then the interiors are interpreted looking at the countryside that stretches all around, then the taste seems more like a reinterpretation of rural homes, which suggests a rural style mixed with a sober elegance, a rural-chic style.

This guest house just outside Lucera has standard rooms with evocative names: the Finamunno makes you think of something that is at the "end of the world"; the Percector instead zeroes the distances and reminds us that the district in which we are located is called. These are the so-called rooms of Massaro, although no massaro has ever had such a beautiful view as far as the eye on the colors of the table, air conditioning, mirrors, smart TV, wifi, telephone, safe, minibar, shower and stone sink. The Torrebianca instead is the stately room, the one that in the masserie of the past would have been reserved for special guests: the bed is sheltered by the canopy of curled canvas; the four windows open on a half octagon; the niches carved into the thickness of the walls are illuminated; the bathroom would be better called a bathroom, given the size. And finally there is the master bedroom, the Quadrofico, which opens onto a large veranda and has a corner-lounge with a desk that would have been liked by travelers of the nineteenth century.
