Information
The site is the favorite place of delicetani for excursions surrounded by nature and for outdoor sports activities. The Bosco della Consolazione is equipped with paths and areas for stops and picnics, also has a considerable naturalistic importance as it hosts a series of fauna species of great interest, from wolf to badger, reptiles (there is an important population of luscengula), amphibians (especially newts). It is an important refuge site for several birds of prey including the common owl, the tawny owl, the buzzard and the kite.
Inside takes place every year, the first of August, the festival of orecchiette which is an excellent opportunity to spend a day immersed in the unspoilt nature of the forest and taste, and then enhance, the excellent local products.
