Today the forest is reduced to the only agro of Monteleone and is easily reachable on foot from the village, thanks to a path that starts from the Villa Comunale. Inside there are equipped trails that allow you to make interesting excursions suitable for even the less experienced. The forest consists of mixed broad-leaved trees, mainly oaks, oaks and oaks, associated with other species such as hornbeam, chestnut, hazel and maple. Beech is also present in the higher areas.
