Information
Built on the ruins of a church dedicated to the Souls of Purgatory, of which the bell tower is preserved, the religious building was opened to the public around 1855.
The Church has an unusual facade lining and a single nave interior decorated according to Baroque mannerism. Inside there are several statues including the imposing statuary group of Our Lady of Consolation with the Child Jesus in her arms and at the feet of Saint Augustine and Saint Monica.
